“Bad” Silicones do not biodegrade easily and cause health issues due to their toxic profiles. (We don’t use them!) “Good” Conditioning Silicones (in the top layer) are lightweight for faster absorption and don’t allow build up. They have a fast evaporation rate, so nothing goes to the wastewater stream.
